不過，看到有「Apps」這四個字，大概就可以瞭解，Windows Metro Style Apps 是下載就可以安裝使用的，而且，也會有個類似「Market」或的東西吧 !

Metro Style Apps 的開發並不限定是什麼語言 或者應該說有很多語言都可以拿來開發 Metro Style Apps 而底層的部份由軟體開發平台解決 對我們這種一般的 windows 用戶而言 最可惜的就是 Metro Style Apps 並沒有支援 Windows 8 以外的 OS

通用Windows平台（UWP）應用，也稱 Metro風格應用，是一種通過 Windows應用商店 向 Microsoft Windows 作業系統分發的 移動應用程式，它們不同於在設計、開發、分發以及內容上不同於傳統桌面應用程式。
